Crested Duck's Rillette Serving Suggestions
Allow the rillette to come to room temperature before serving, at this point the layer of rendered duck fat on top will be soft. Right before serving, slice some baguette or other bread and drizzle with a good olive oil. Toast on the grill or on the stove top. Spread the rillette on the toast, being careful to evenly distribute the rendered fat.
You can serve the rillete at this point or garnish it with some chopped fresh herbs, a sprinkle of fleur de sel, caramelized onion or any other garnish that inspires you.
